ZenCart has a few different methods for verifying whether or not your downloadable products are actually linked to the product in the cart so that when people purchase an item, it's automatically setup to be downloaded after they complete the checkout process.

The first one is by looking at the products attributes. If you goto a given product and click on the it will bring up a window on the right that will say whether the file assigned to be downloaded when the product is valid. See the images below, the first one shows the location of the   while the second one shows you what you should be seeing if you've uploaded your product file correctly and assigned the attribute for it properly as outline in the earlier tutorials.

Another method that ZenCart has for verifying downloadable files is the Download Manager. You can get to the manager by going to:

CATALOG > DOWNLOAD MANAGER

Here you will see a long list of all your products that have downloads assigned to them. If you'll note at the top of the listing there's two little dots, one red and one green 

These are the dots you're looking for as you go down the list, a red dot indicates that when you assigned the attribute for the product to be downloaded, you either entered the name wrong, or that the file you uploaded is not named properly to match the attribute you assigned. Take a look at the screenshots below and you'll see the list of products with green dots in the first image, and in the second you'll see what happens when you click on the edit link for a product in the Download Manager, you can edit the filename without having to go through the attributes controller.

And that's the low down on how to make sure your files are properly linked to the products they're supposed to be linked to so that your customers can shop on your site 24/7 and get their orders right away without you having to raise a finger.
